There are several states which align their aviation regulations with EASA, but are not members of EASA. These include: Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Malaysia, Pakistan, Kenya, Hong Kong, Tanzania, Thailand, Madagascar, and Vietnam. The exams are delivered by a subsidiary of the UK CAA called ‘CAA International’ in conjunction with a software provider called Aspeq and use an older EASA exam database.
Yes, you can practise questions based on your selected authority or explore where a particular question was seen in exam. This is how it works:
Choose the Examining Authority of your interest on your Account page. You can also choose all EASA authorities or UK CAA.
Airhead will then show you questions only from this selected authority in your Practice Tests and Search.
Choose "All Examining Authorities" to see all questions.
Open the side-panel on the Question Page to explore where and when the question was seen in the exam.
Note: This info is based on students' feedback and may not capture the full picture.
Airhead has 50K+ questions from 4 major question banks. These questions are divided into 40K+ question clusters that unite similar questions.

Most of the questions on Airhead now have explanations. We are working hard to cover all questions.
Choose when to show answers and explanations when configuring your test in Practice Mode. There are 3 options available:
After you provide your answers
At the end of the test (hardcore mode)
Right away without you answering (cheat mode)
Each question is scored by users on its similarity to the actual exam question. A score of 4.5 to 5 stars indicates a question that is exactly or nearly exactly like one in an exam. There are other questions with lower scores that are less likely to appear. ‘Top quality’ is a filter in Practice Mode and in the Search Mode, select it to get the closest representation of current exam questions, to see everything, good and bad, de-select ‘Top Quality’.
As well as the usual search Airhead has a practice mode that shows you all the relevant questions on the topic you are studying. Smart filters allow you to:
Filter by question bank provider
Show questions ‘seen in exam’ and ‘last 200’
Show only questions ‘I’ve never seen’
Re-test incorrectly answered questions with the ‘I answered wrong’ filter
Check smart dashboards that help you track the total amount of questions you answered correctly in each subject and topic.
Airhead enables you to customise your test in Practice Mode: choose the subjects and topics that you are currently studying, then use a set of filters to get the most of your training process.
Once you have worked through all the relevant questions it is time to switch to Exam Mode. Practice exams are generated to match the structure of the EASA exams and can be attempted either to time or untimed. Start with untimed, then switch to timed exams as you get more confident.
Each question bank has some of the feedback questions from EASA exams, only Airhead puts all of the feedback from the big four banks in one place, allowing you to see the maximum number of real exam questions on one subscription.
Approximately 95% of the real exam questions are covered by our tool. Try it, and decide for yourself!
The registration is always just valid for a single user only. Sharing of user name and password is not allowed and it will result in canceling your subscription without refund.
In that case we encourage you to contact us through support@airheadatpl.com
Please enter ‘Error in question/answer’ in the Subject of the letter and provide us with a detailed explanation why you think the question or the answer is wrong. We will discuss it with our team of experts and get back to you with feedback regarding your concern.
But don’t forget that in many cases the answer choices provided by EASA can be ambiguous or questionable. This is based on well-known deficiency of the EASA exam system, but that is the way the questions appear in the official examinations.
The access starts after you purchase a membership.
Airhead is available online in a browser that works across all devices from computers to tablets and smartphones.
